2018 Into Orbit FLL Qualifier

On December 1, 2018, we went to the FLL Into Orbit competition. In the morning, our team was very anxious to see what was going to happen. The first judging session was our project, which was about a magnetic playing card deck for astronauts to play in space. It went well, but we still need improvement. Our second judging session was on our core values. We struggled on the team building game but did well on the presentation. Finally, our last judging session on was about robot design. Although our bot didn't work during the judging session, our presentation went very well.

Our highest score in robot match was 158. We received first in the Champion Award, and this was our first time getting this trophy. When we heard our team name, we were very ecstatic and stood up instantly and ran to claim our reward.
